GTEC dB Board is a dense plasterboard for use in areas where sound insulation is critical. The board is stronger, harder and heavier than Standard plasterboard. The GTEC dB Board is coloured blue on the front and grey on the back, and has tapers down the long edges. Can cut-out noise up to 45 Rw dB when using a single layer of 15mm each side of a partition system. 30 minutes fire resistance can be achieved with a single layer partition system, see Sinait manuals for more details.. Meets and exceeds Part E building regulations when used as part of the Siniat system.
